About AaronAaron grew up in metropolitan Detroit. He has performed in opera, oratorio, operetta, musical theatre, theatre, and ballet, and is a member of AEA and AGMA. He is a long-time member of the Chicago opera and theater communities and now maintains residences in the great Los Angeles area, Chicago, IL, and Malta in the EU.
As Director, Conductor, Musical Director, Vocal Coach and/or Choreographer in professional, community and educational performance venues Aaron has helped to prepare and present productions in many different genres. The Producing Artistic Director of Transgressive Theatre-Opera, Aaron directed the 2015 inaugural production of a double-bill of Menotti’s The Telephone and Beeson’s Hello Out There. TT-O has also produced A Chekhov Trio: Dominick Argento's The Boor & A Few Words about Chekhov, and Richard Wargo's The Seduction of a Lady, conceived, designed, and directed by Aaron, Cox and Box, Cosi Fan Tutte, and 14 other operas, operettas, musicals, and concerts, both live and virutally. |
